A: Most private insurance companies do not cover for any cosmetic procedures and treatments. However some insurance companies offer health care spending account which may be used for the cosmetic services. Some of the health care spending may also be tax deuctible. Consult your accountant for further details.

A: Many cosmetic skin problems can be treated with lasers. Laser treatments can improve sun damage, scars(acne or depressed), stretch marks, unwanted hair, fine lines and wrinkles, facial and leg veins(spider veins / telengiectasia), redness of rosacea and uneven pigmentation / melasma. See our

A: Yes. Lasers are very specialized machines designed to treat a specific type of condition. There is no one "treat-all" laser capable of correcting all skin problems. We use state-of-the-art laser technology to provide our clients with optimal customized treatments to get the best results.
A: There is almost no down time for most of our treatments. Most patients return to normal activities on the same day of their treatment. Most treatments show little or no sign that you had anything done at all. A mild redness for few hours is the most common after-effect. Occasionally, the treated area may be red, swollen or bruised for a few days. Routine makeup will usually
be able to conceal these transient after-effect.
A: Gentle cleansing with mild soap and water, no scrubbing, using moisturizer and sun screen with SPF 25 or more, and sun avoidance are the common post care instructions for most of our treatments.
A: In most cases there are no side effects associated with treatment. However, pigmentary changes of the treated skin may happen. Pigmentary changes map persists for months, but are almost always temporary.
A: The sensations vary depending upon the procedure, the wavelengths and the energy settings. Most procedures have very mild discomfort and easily tolerable without any pain killer. Most people describe this discomfort as feeling a rubber band snapping on the skin. We use smart cool to maximize patient comfort. A local anesthetic may be recommended for more sensitive treatment areas or for younger patients. If necassary, Dr. Dhillon will prescribe an appropriate pain medication.
